The Mayor of Čelinac, Vlado Gligorić, claims that the municipal administration did not organize a concert for the Day and patron saint’s feast of Čelinac municipality, which featured performances by Saša Matić, Ana Bekuta, Milica Pavlović, Ivana Selakov, and Jovan Perišić.
TI BiH contacted the municipal administration inquiring about the cost of the aforementioned concert and its promotional marketing campaign, which included placing billboards at multiple locations inviting citizens to a free concert.
However, before the free concert by musical performers, four SNSD candidates for the upcoming general elections appeared on stage, giving speeches, singing, and indirectly calling on gathered citizens to vote, as evidenced by recordings on social media.
TI BiH warned that this case is a clear example of misusing a public event and public funds to promote parties and candidates in the upcoming elections. However, the municipal administration claims it is not the organizer, so it remains unknown from which funds the concert was financed.
